Sheffield is a vibrant and cosmopolitan city in the heart of England, the only city to include
part of a national park, the Peak District, within its borders. The city enjoys a wide variety

estimated total of over two million trees, Sheffield has more trees per person than any

Added to this are 135 km2 of National Park and almost 11 km2 of water, resulting in 61
percent of the city comprising green space.
Known as the Steel City because of its association with the steel and cutlery industry,
Sheffield as now become a more diverse city with new businesses coming here because
of it’s central location in the UK and the local facilities and amenities the city as to offer.
